park overview (and parking info)

What a little gem! This park is quaint and intimate and generally feels more like it belongs in a mountain town than a few blocks from the beach. It is nestled in a quiet residential neighborhood among tall pines and thick ivy.

The parking is limited and sits above the park. Signage points you to the correct parking area located on Eyerly Street. From the small parking lot you’ll walk down a short path with wooden steps and arrive at Yow.

Additionally, you’re just a few blocks over from beach access points at Windy Hill Beach on the southern end of North Myrtle Beach.

yow park playground in north myrtle beach

playground overview

The playground itself features two very well maintained play structures – one designed for kids ages 2-5 and the other for ages 5-12. The park also offers bathrooms, picnic tables, and swings.

There is a cute little mushroom table and a few other benches and bench swings that allow visitors a chance to just take in this delightful little spot.

This park really does just blend into the natural environment. The tall pines offer some shade and the thick ivy make it feel like an oasis on even the hottest summer days.
