The town of Surfside Beach takes parks seriously! Fuller Park is a wonderful playground in the heart of Surfside Beach that is worth checking out. Read our park review here.
Summary: Only one play structure for a park that can get busy makes it feel crowded during peak times but overall great location, love the shade and amenities of bathroom and tables.
park overview
Fuller Park is in the heart of Surfside Beach and sits right beside Horry County Memorial Library. Memorial Park is also right nearby which hosts a farmer’s market on Tuesdays during the spring, summer and fall.
park features
The park offers a play structure good for ages 2-10, swing sets, and another domed climbing structure. There are restrooms and a few picnic tables in this fully fenced and well shaded park.
This is a solid park choice but beware going at peak times, especially during the summer when visitors will pick this park because of it’s visibility and location.
what makes it a favorite
This park is a favorite for visitors and locals alike.
Our favorite thing about this park is it’s location (right beside the library) and how well shaded it is. It is quite large inside and offers plenty of room for kids to invent games of their own or simply run around.
The bathrooms are in good shape (as far as park restrooms go) and there are plenty of places for parents to chill while the kids burn off their energy.
