park overview

McLeod Park is simply a neighborhood playground. It doesn’t have a lot of frills but those can be the best options for your basic just-need-to-burn-off-an-hour’s-worth-of-energy kind of parks. The parking is easy and streets nearby are not busy. There are several businesses nearby which comes in handy since the park has no restrooms.

playground overview

The playground has two play structures, one intended for younger (2-5) and the other for older (5+) kids plus swings, a few spring ride-on characters and some balance/climbing structures. The playground area has a rubberized mat ground cover which is in great shape. The equipment itself also seems to be in excellent condition.

The park is entirely fenced in and also offers a few picnic tables and benches where parents can easily keep an eye on the whole playground. The only real negatives about McLeod Park is the lack of shade and lack of bathrooms.
