Myrtle Beach Holiday Shopping Guide: Small, Local Businesses
myrtle beach holiday shopping guide: small, local businesses
We are so fortunate to have so many wonderful small, local shops nearby. During the off-season we locals can show them some extra love by looking to them first when we start Christmas shopping. We rounded up a big list of them for this Myrtle Beach holiday shopping guide!
featured shops & events
These are some of our favorites! They offer excellent quality, great variety and fair prices. Plus they love local families and show that by supporting the content of Moms of Myrtle. We hope you'll stop in to see them this season!
We love this shop! It’s a wonderland and I feel good about all the items they carry because they’re primarily educational, encourage imaginative play, timeless, high quality and just beautiful to have in your home. Morgan is the shop owner and she loves having events that benefit local families too! **Check out their event with Santa on Nov 27**
They recently added a build-a-bear machine! They are fully stocked to help you with your Christmas shopping needs. Go see them!
So many year-round favs will keep showing up for the holiday markets. You can shop pottery, yummy baked goods, heathy kombucha, and more!
Plus there is another FAMILY DAY market in Pawleys Island on November 20. Those are super fun and features a bounce house, face painting, all the Hammocks Shops and the great WMC vendors.
This place is so incredible. It’s definitely catered to nature lovers of any age.
The kids section is dreamy with toys, puzzles, adventure games, books and more. There is a large card selection, gardening books and supplies, nature-focused novels and other books, adult puzzles, and so much more.
It’s wonderful and so charming and I’m sure you’ll find something for any nature-loving kids or adults in your life.
FRIENDSGIVING HOLIDAY MARKET | This is a fun event with Rooted Beauty Pottery and Caspin Coffee. They’ll have food, coffee, an ornament workshop, vendors and live music! And maybe Santa!?
Although this isn’t a traditional retail shop it is still an excellent place to purchase gifts –– give a pre-made item or gift an experience! I’d be happy with either!
A combo 2nd hand book shop, new book store, fun kid play area, cat-petter-place, and children’s program spot. The selection is always great and the prices are incredible. Plus it’s run by a wonderful local family. Go here for your book needs this season (and beyond)!
We love this shop! It’s a kids wonderland and I feel good about all the items they carry because they’re primarily educational, encourage imaginative play, timeless, high quality and just beautiful to have in your home. Morgan is the shop owner and she is full of suggestions too!
This is seriously the most beautiful and charming place. If you love nature then you just must stop in. Guarantee you’ll find at least a half dozen things you want.
Small Business Saturday events encourage small business shopping but many others happen throughout the holiday season and feature local artists and vendors too!
