Loris Nature Park is located at 300 Loris Lions Road in Loris. This county-owned park got a recent upgrade (Fall 2024) making it an inclusive playground.

The improvements to this park make it an inclusive play space for those with physical disabilities. This also makes it a great spot for babies and toddlers. Here are some of the features:

We loved this park. The setting is so quaint and peaceful with tall pines all around. Note that it is right across the road from the high school so it may be busier and less quiet during the school year and certain times of day.
This park is in northwest Horry County so it can feel far from central and south strand locations but it’s worth checking out if you’re in the area! Things that are nearby that might bring you up this way include Bonnie Bay Blueberry Farm, 5 Star Farm, Boondocks Adventure Farm, Camp Jellystone in Tabor City or Loris’ annual Bog-Off Festival in October.
