PARKS IN MYRTLE BEACH

parks are a mom's best friend

An hour at the park is one of the best ways to break up the day and to reset attitudes.

We’re lucky to have dozens of parks in Myrtle Beach and the surrounding towns. We bet you already have your favorites! But if you find yourself across town and in need of a park then here is your guide.

North Myrtle Beach maintains it’s parks very well. There are a variety of park types to choose from – from the small neighborhood parks to the larger sports complexes. Be sure to hit them all!

If you’re in the heart of the city then you win! You’ve got a half dozen great options within 15 minutes plus you’re not too far to take advantage of the best parks to the north and south of you.

Conway doesn’t sleep on their parks either! If you’re out that way then be sure to check out the great outdoor spaces that the city has worked hard to make accessible. The city also has this super HANDY GUIDE TO HELP.

The southern end has some charming little parks that integrate the natural beauty of the marsh and inlet. Most of the parks in the South Strand have a lovely small, neighborhood feel but still check all the boxes for keeping kids engaged in play.

Huntington Beach and Myrtle Beach State Park are such treasures! There is so much to do an explore at each park. Check out our guides to each of them. And we’ll work our way toward all the other SC state parks that are within driving distance!

COMING SOON! Myrtle Beach has some really great green spaces. They may not have playground equipment but they’re still plenty fun for kids and adults. These are places with awesome walking trails, places to watch wildlife (or airplanes), and other history or educational features.
