We’ll focus on the splash pad portion of the park first. It’s got an animal theme with a brightly colored alligator water slide, pelican, turtle, dolphin, and fish sprayers. There are also spouts up from the concrete and a tall water collection bucket thing that dumps once it’s full.

The biggest tip I can offer for this place is don’t go too early! The water isn’t turned on until 11am. We were there trying in vain to push anything that looked like a button at 10am and went away disappointed. But we went back after talking to some locals who assured us that it is still operational – and sure enough, they were right!

There is plenty of benches for adult seating and a few shade canopies to help with the sun. There is also a permanent restroom facility for changing into dry clothes.

playground features

The playground here is really nice! It has a pretty good sized play structure given that this is a small residential park. The area gets nice shade and it doesn’t get crowded. It has a rubberized ground covering and a standard play structure with the usual slides and climbing options. One side is intended for younger kids and the other for kids 5-12 years old.

There are also some picnic tables and benches nearby. The parking situation here is super easy. And as mentioned before, there are restrooms and a water fountain. The entire park is also fenced in with a few gate access points. It’s very easy to keep an eye on kids at the playground OR the splash pad but they are separated so it would be hard to keep an on eye two or more kids if they divide up.
