In the wake of Hurricane Helene many parts of our beloved North and South Carolina have been decimated. But thankfully our area has quickly responded by focusing attention on the needs, organizing supply drives and linking to places to make financial donations.
Donate money
Many nonprofits are already on the ground in the local area and posed to help. They just need more financial resources to make it happen. Here are some orgs to consider when donating:
828 Strong A ministry of Biltmore Church. This is where we attended while living in Asheville and have chosen to personally donate. They’re providing supplies and free hot meals daily at their many campuses across WNC. They’re meeting felt needs (what people need right now) and forever needs through ministering in Jesus’ name.
