Haven’t heard of it!? Boondocks Adventure Farm is just outside the Grand Strand but it has a lot to offer year-round. They just opened for their fall season and will soon have more in store for Christmas too! Here is one of the best farms in Myrtle Beach area… Boondocks Adventure Farm.
what to expect
This place is a little more than a standard farm with fall activities. It’s larger, has a few more activities and goes a little farther in theme/decorations. It feels a little like a hybrid between a farm, county fair and small theme park. Regardless of the category it best falls into it’s definitely fun and worth the trip up from the Grand Strand!
It’s in a small rural town just across the state line. Be sure you use the right address and be looking for signs and cars! Activities include:
• 150-ft double lane mega slide
• Hay bale hayride tour
• Mechanical rides
• Pedal kart track
• Jump pad & sandbox area
• Themed maze adventure
• Pumpkin painting
• Photo opps
• Live music, food, farm store
• Gem mining
LAYOUT | The activities are spread out over a pretty large space. By the main entrance there is food, photo opps, hayride pickup then the mechanical rides, you’ll walk through to the petting zoo area then back toward the slides, pumpkin painting, music, corn maze and other traditional farm experiences.
STROLLER FRIENDLY | Yes, wagons and strollers will be fine. The area does hold a little water after heavy rain but that’s true of any farm!
OTHER NOTES | There are some porta-potties at the entrance and toward the back side of the property. Parking is easy and close by. The employees and staff are all kind and helpful. The Boondocks team are working hard to elevate the experiences and offerings here.
