I'On Community with parks & restaurants
WHERE | 159 Civitas St, Mt Pleasant
WHY VISIT | This master-planned community has the old Charleston feel but is much easier to navigate. It boasts several shops, restaurants and small parks to explore. It’s a good one-stop destination for shopping, dining and outdoor fun.
We love walking around the streets and just enjoying the feel of the place! The parks are nice, small and well-shaded too.
THE PARKS OF I’ON | Beware the parks are difficult to find if you don’t know where to look. We had a ton of help in finding these from the mama behind the IG page, CHSwithKids.
(1) There train one in these photos is behind O’Brion’s Pub & Grille.
(2) Go to Hopetown Road and look for the blue playground equipment. This one is better for younger kids but it also has a great trail behind it.
(3) From 17 turn on Shellmore and go around Mathis Ferry to East Lake, the park will be on the right.
