mb pelicans games your kids will love
The Myrtle Beach Pelicans are kicking off their 25th season this year! In typical fashion this season’s schedule is full of nightly specials, Family Fridays, unique giveaway, and the tried-and-true classics.
the pelicans earn the
top game day experience
Did you know the MB Pelicans have been awarded the top gameday experience for a Single-A stadium by Stadium Journal? That is quite the honor but if you’ve been to a game then you’re probably not too surprised.
The stadium has so many features and the entertainment between innings always gives you something new to focus on. The marketing team works hard to offer unique and meaningful specials and themes. It’s truly fun for kids and adults.

what to expect at a pelicans game
NO CLEAR BAG POLICY | This is so nice!
THE MID-INNING GAMES + ENTERTAINMENT | This is typical at minor league games but the Pelicans really go above and beyond to make them fun and engaging. Remember that top game day experience rating!?
THE BAT DOG | Slider makes various special appearances on field throughout the game, and when he does the whole crowd rewards him with loud cheers! He is also available for concourse photos during certain innings. If the Pelicans win, he takes a victory lap around the bases!
DIFFERENT PLACES TO TAKE KIDS | If kids need a change of scenery then you have plenty of options for where to take them. There is the beach area, tables toward the outfield and RipTidz. All of these offer a little more space for kids to roam. Then of course, there is the playground.
PLAYGROUND | The playground is by the main entrance and great to visit upon entering the stadium and at any point mid-game.
FAMILY FUN ZONE | If you go on Friday’s then kids (12 and under) get a wristband for this free with Backpack Buddies donation (see list above). There is a bounce house and games.
Be sure to get a few on your calendar for this spring and summer. We’ll see ya out there!
