I just had to Google it to remind myself, fall doesn’t end until Dec 21! In my mind November = beginning of winter. But that isn’t really true! We’ll have nice weather and more festival fun for a few more weeks before the HOLIDAYS take over. 

All equally exciting but I like to enjoy the fullness of a season before ushering in the next one so let’s stay in the fall-zone a little longer. Here are some top picks for what to do in Myrtle Beach in November!

Nov 5, 10am–4pm, Surfside Drive in Surfside Beach

The Town of Surfside Beach will host the annual Surfside Beach Family Festival, an event that brings thousands of people for good food, good fun and family-friendly activities. More info here.

I love seafood festival

This is a can’t miss annual event overlooking the beautiful inlet. Purchase tickets in advance.

This is the 10th Annual event benefitting Family Justice Center of Georgetown and Horry Counties. We can’t wait for this one!!! More info here. And FYI, Georgetown is making it a weekend thing with the Georgetown World Pilau Festival running from Nov 11–13.

There will be live entertainment and the event is hosted by WPDE’s Ed Piotrowski. Santa is even expected to show up! There will also be fireworks at 8pm. More info.

Mythical & Medieval festival

The festival benefits Caleb’s Dragonfly Dreams a local non-profit organization. The family-friendly event features artisan’s village, music, shows, games, food, and more in a whimsical realm full of fairies and knights. More info.

This 2 mile fun run and walk is the earliest and most festive way to see the lights. Dress in costume and bring the stroller to make it a fun time for the whole family!

Syrup day at the lw paul living history farm

Nov 19, 9am–12pm at the LW Paul Living History Farm

Join staff and volunteers for a demonstration of the process of making cane syrup. There will be lots of other traditional activities including children’s games, cooking on a wood burning stove and more. More info here.
