City of Conway Halloween Home Decorating Contest | Use that link to register (it was hard for me to find! It’s under “Programs”)
INFO | This is open to Conway residents only. Registration is open from Sept 5 until Oct 14. There are 7 different categories and a grand prize of $250. Maps will be made available of all the participating houses for a driving tour of the entrants! No further word on exactly when maps will be ready (assuming it’ll be by Oct 17) so we’ll update here when that info is released.
Great Holiday Decorating Contest in Myrtle Beach | This event is in it’s inaugural year. A local woman is organizing it after running this successfully in her prior hometown. Reach out to her via her FB page (linked) or email address (myrtlebeachhousecontest@gmail.com) to enter and receive the map. She is also accepting donations and sponsors so reach out if that is of interest.
Halloween Costume Contest at Crabtree Memorial Gym | Registration opens on October 1. To register contact (843) 918-2361. Costume must be worn on Oct 24th to Crabtree Memorial Gym and a picture will be taken by a city staff member. Online voting begins Oct 25.

3rd Annual Halloween Golf Cart Parade | Oct 29, 11am in Downtown Conway. The parade begins at the Public Safety Building on 9th Avenue and goes down 9th Ave to Laurel Street and ends at Elm Street.

Annual Haunted Tunnel | Oct 27-29, 7–10pm. Event at Coastal Car Wash in Pawleys Island and benefits the Family Justice Center.
